Intrax Consulting Group is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to deliver investigations, site inspections and data analysis for residential, commercial and land development projects. You will prepare practical engineering recommendations and high-quality reports for diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver geotechnical investigations across residential, commercial, industrial and land development projects.
• Undertake field investigations, site inspections and soil logging activities.
• Analyse geotechnical and laboratory data to prepare practical engineering recommendations.
• Complete high-quality geotechnical reports, site classifications and footing assessments.
• Work closely with field technicians, laboratory teams and multidisciplinary consultants.
• Identify project risks and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Build strong relationships with clients, builders, developers and project stakeholders.
• Support project delivery, technical quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the growth and success of our Geotechnical business nationally.

Every foundation, structure and development relies on accurate ground information and practical engineering advice. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you'll help clients understand site conditions, manage risk and make informed decisions before construction begins.

Working as part of our close-knit national Geotechnical team, you'll combine local project delivery with access to specialist expertise from across Australia. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, field technicians and laboratory professionals who are focused on delivering quality outcomes for clients.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

We're interested in engineers who are curious, practical and committed to continuous learning.

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in geotechnical consulting, civil engineering or site investigation environments.
• Knowledge of geotechnical investigation, soil logging and interpretation practices.
• Understanding of relevant Australian Standards and reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and report writing skills.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management capability.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
• A current Australian Driver Licence.
