Job summary

Frontier Fire Design is seeking an intermediate Fire Protection Designer to take ownership of projects, advance technical knowledge and engage in coordination with clients and consultants. You will work on sprinkler, hydrant and hose reel systems from early design through to as-built documentation, using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM tools.

You’ll collaborate with a small, growing specialist team, review drawings, perform hydraulic considerations and contribute to project decisions while developing

Qualifications

Experience in wet fire system design and ability to interpret architectural/services drawings.
Strong coordination and communication with clients and project teams.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit for design documentation.
Attention to detail and ability to identify coordination issues.

Responsibilities

Design fire sprinkler, hydrant and hose reel systems.
Prepare coordinated design and construction documentation.
Work with AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam and review related drawings.
Coordinate with other disciplines and participate in meetings.
Assist with hydraulic calculations and RFIs.
Manage drawing revisions and document control.
