Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security Australia in Sydney is seeking a Fire Estimator to support our Major Projects fire business across New South Wales. The role requires evaluating tender drawings and specifications to prepare accurate quotations for major projects.

You will manage the end-to-end tender process, engage with clients and subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery of proposals. A background in fire protection is advantageous, with strong communication and IT skills driving success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Reading and interpreting tender drawings and consultant/architect specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maximising sales opportunities and conversion with existing customers through timely quotes.
• Maintaining end-to-end tender process from initial contact to close.
• Reading and interpreting tender drawings and consultant/architect specifications.
• Establishing relationships and obtaining quotations from subcontractors as needed.
• Preparing and distributing quotation letters and confirming delivery/receipt.
• Project handover to the project management team.
