About the Role

A great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and energetic Fire Equipment /Extinguisher Technician with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our Brisbane team. This is a full-time position offering the successful candidate career progression opportunities with one of the leading Fire Protection Companies in Australia.

Working in a strong team environment, your solid work ethic and high degree of customer satisfaction will see you well rewarded with attractive wages, standard40-hour week (Monday to Friday),with RDO andovertime rates for any extra hours, as a well as a tool of trade commercial vehicle to enable you to perform your duties.

Your primary duties will include:

• Testing and repairs of fire protection equipment to Australian Standards including but not limited to fire extinguishers, fire hoses, fire blankets.
• Liaising with customers, fostering a courteous and professional business relationship.
• Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
• Fire Equipment product sales across a diverse range of industries.

To be considered for this role, ideally you will need to have:

• Fire industry experience.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety.
• Excellent customer service and time management.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Good personal presentation.
• Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection.
