Job summary

Wormald is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Fire Testing Technicians to join our Adelaide team. You will service and test fire protection equipment for major clients in the metropolitan region, following Australian Standards.

These permanent full-time roles require autonomy, strong time management and a safety-first approach. We offer a sign-on bonus for qualified testers, competitive remuneration, overtime, allowances and TOT vehicle support.

Qualifications

• Fire industry experience would be highly regarded.

The Role

Due to continued growth, a great opportunity now exists for experienced individuals with ‘can do’ attitudes to join our Adelaide team as Multi-Skilled Fire Testing Technicians. These roles are permanent, full-time positions and the successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing and testing of Fire Equipment in accordance with Australian Standards, attending to our major clients in the metropolitan region.

The role will require the successful applicant to be able to plan, organise and have excellent time management skills. The applicant must be able to work autonomously as well as demonstrate versatility and support within a team environment.

Primary duties

• Testing and maintenance of fire protection equipment to Australian Standards including but not limited to, Fire Alarms, Evacuation Systems, Emergency Lighting, Sprinkler Systems, Hydrants, Pumps and other building safety features
• Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards for fire protection equipment
• Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly environment
• Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements

Key qualities

• Fire industry experience would be highly regarded
