Job summary

DW Door Solutions Pty Ltd based in Frenchs Forest NSW is seeking a Fire Door Technician. We welcome experienced technicians and juniors willing to learn the fire door trade.

Training is provided for capable newcomers, with a view to a long-term role. Responsibilities include installation, replacement of fire doors and frames, hardware fitting, site rectification, measuring for installation, reading plans, and working across Sydney’s commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Typical on-site installation and trades work experience preferred.
• Construction White Card is required to work on-site.
• Ability to work across Sydney and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Installation and replacement of fire doors
• Installation of fire-rated door frames
• Fitting door hardware including locks and closers
• Fire door repairs and rectification works
• Measuring and preparing doors for installation
• Reading job sheets, plans and specifications
• Working across a variety of commercial sites throughout Sydney
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site presentation
• Collecting materials from warehouse/office
