This role targets experienced culinary professionals with genuine commercial kitchen experience, strong technical ability and a consistent commitment to quality, working alongside an established kitchen team preparing European and modern Australian cuisine to a high presentation standard.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Chef or Cook.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional cooking experience.
• Demonstrated experience in European or modern Australian fine-dining cuisine.
• Previous Chef de Partie or equivalent section-level experience is highly regarded.
• Verifiable qualifications and genuine employment history.
• Strong all-round culinary skills and practical kitchen knowledge.
• Ability to consistently produce well-presented, high-quality dishes.
• Good understanding of foodsafety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
• Ability to manage food preparation while keeping wastage under control.
• Ability to work effectively within a professional kitchen team.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and split shifts.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate that their qualifications and professional experience can be verified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook European and modern Australian cuisine to fine-dining standards.
• Demonstrate practical capability across professional kitchen operations.
• Take ownership of an allocated kitchen section during service.
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion standards.
• Complete preparation and cooking tasks efficiently during busy service periods.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth and timely food service.
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimise unnecessary food wastage.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and foodsafety.
• Follow recipes, preparation procedures and workplace foodsafety requirements.
• Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations where required.
• Maintain consistent performance across evening, weekend and split-shift services.
• Contribute positively to a professional and team-focused kitchen environment.
