Job summary

Financial Decisions in Sydney CBD is seeking a junior financial planning assistant to back senior advisers with research, modelling, and client meetings, helping to create financial strategies.

You will review advice documents for accuracy and compliance, support strategy implementation, and build rapport with clients, investment platforms, and insurers. This is a pathway to offering advice directly to clients. Note: This position is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents only.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completing a relevant university degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and quick to learn new software.
• Solid knowledge of tax, superannuation, retirement income and investments.
• High accuracy, initiative and proactive work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the senior advisers with research, modelling, and calculations to create financial strategies.

To be successful for this role, candidates must meet the following prerequisites

• Completion or progress toward a relevant university degree.
• Experience using Microsoft365 suite and the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Strong knowledge base in financial planning concepts and regulations, including an understanding of tax, superannuation, retirement income streams and investments.
• High levels of accuracy, initiative, and a proactive and enthusiastic work ethic.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with our team of advisers.
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
