Tecala Group is seeking a Financial Controller to join our growing ICT managed services team in Australia. You will own the month-end close, financial controls, statutory and tax compliance, and lead the transactional finance team.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with working rights in Australia.
• Degree in Accounting or Commerce required.
• 7–10 years post-qualification experience in finance roles.
• Experience with month-end close, financial controls and tax compliance.
• Experience leading an external audit process.
• Experience managing a small transactional finance team, including offshore members.
• Experience with MYOB Acumatica or similar mid-market ERP.

Responsabilités

• Own the month-end close process, journal review and P&L variance reporting.
• Drive financial controls, statutory and tax compliance and lead external audit.
• Manage payroll reconciliation and 13-week cashflow forecast.
• Lead and develop a small transactional finance team (Accountant, Senior AP Officer, offshore Assistant Accountant).
• Oversee finance systems (MYOB Acumatica) and pursue process improvements and AI automation.
• Lead financial integration of acquisitions, including data migration and due diligence.
• Support the CFO with ASIC lodgements and governance matters.
