Job summary

Easy Signs is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of our Finance and Purchasing function across Australia and the US. Reporting directly to the Directors, this hands-on senior role spans financial reporting, controls, cash flow, forecasting and system improvements.

You’ll lead the finance team, drive budgeting, forecasting and audits, and collaborate with leadership on commercial decisions to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a senior finance or Financial Controller role.
• CA or CPA qualification preferred.
• Strong technical accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability.
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
• A commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge, advise and improve.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Xero experience is essential; experience with Airwallex, Dext and ApprovalMax is highly regarded.
• Confidence working with cloud-based systems and a drive to continuously improve how things are done.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, tax and statutory compliance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital.
• Coordinate statutory reporting and annual external audits.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, FX exposure, inventory and COGS accuracy.
• Partner with the Directors and leadership team on commercial decision-making.
• Drive improvements across finance systems, processes and automation.

About the role

Lead the finance function of a growing international business across Australia and the US.

Easy Signs is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of our Finance and Purchasing function across both markets.

Reporting directly to the Company Directors, this is a hands‑on senior leadership role spanning financial reporting, controls, compliance, cash flow, forecasting and the continued development of our finance systems and processes.
