Job summary

Perigon Group Pty Limited in Australia is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, controls, compliance and finance operations in a complex, inventory-intensive environment.

You will own the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, drive month-end processes and support the ongoing development of the finance function, with broad scope and governance.

This senior role offers influence, a proactive, hands-on approach and relocation support for interstate candidates.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification is required.
• Experience as Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Ownership of full financial statements and governance experience.
• SOX exposure is highly regarded.
• Inventory accounting in a complex operating environment.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder influence.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

ABOUT YOU

• CA or CPA qualification
• Previous Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or equivalent experience
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
• Demonstrated ownership of full financial statements
• Strong governance, controls, audit and compliance experience
• Exposure to SOX-controlled environments highly regarded
• Inventory accounting experience within a complex operating environment
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
