Job summary

Perigon Group is seeking a Financial Accountant with a project focus to join our close-knit finance team in Sydney. You will manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepare month-end reports, post journals and maintain ledger integrity, while supporting budgeting and forecasting.

Experience in auditing is preferred and exposure to property development is desirable. You will collaborate with auditors and contribute to various ad hoc financial tasks as part of a dynamic property sector team.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualification or currently pursuing it.
• Auditing experience is preferred.
• Exposure to property development is a plus.

The Role:

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of month-end financial reports
• Posting journals and maintaining general ledger integrity
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Working closely with auditors to clear outstanding compliance work
• Supporting the team with ad hoc financial tasks

About You:

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualified or working towards it
• Prior exposure to property development is desirable, though not essential
• Prior experience of working as an auditor is preferred
• You bring an engaging personality and clear, professional communication skills
