Job summary

CareerMode is working exclusively with a private equity backed property investment group that has a clear mandate to grow. With new assets on the horizon and an ever-expanding portfolio, the group is adding an Assistant Accountant to their established team.

You will work alongside the Senior Accountant and benefit from mentor-ship from the CFO. The role offers exposure to month end processes, tax support and a balanced work life with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Working towards CA or CPA qualification.
• Property accounting experience is desirable though not essential.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles; Intermediate to Advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP & AR.
• Support property accounting.
• Reconciliations & reporting.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments and property journals.
• Manage outgoings calculations through to billing and tenant refunds.
• Assist with month end reporting and processes.
• Support tax and compliance.

About You

• Experience in property accounting is highly desirable although not essential
