Job summary

Fintech Resources in Sydney is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a large global Financial Services business. This broad role covers financial reporting, value add and projects while offering career development opportunities.

You will be responsible for group reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and providing accounting support to stakeholders. A strong communication mindset and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification or working towards with experience in Audit, Business Services, or from a large corporate/listed business.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders across the business.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capability.

Responsibilities

• Group financial reporting, month end and reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end and half year end accounts preparation for Group.
• Provide analysis and commentary on variances.
• Provide accounting advice and support as required;
• Participate in continuous process improvement.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and duties as needed.
