Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment is seeking a Financial Accountant for a growing financial services business based in Macquarie Park. You will take ownership of a number of entities and manage full month-end duties with a focus on accuracy and timelines.

Key responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, reporting, variance analysis with meaningful commentary, and liaising with external auditors. Hybrid working with two days remote offers a balanced, professional environment.

Qualifications

• CA Qualification required.
• Strong experience in financial accounting duties, including month-end and statutory reporting, or a first-time mover from audit.
• Excellent attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in financial services is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own full month-end including journals, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Perform variance analysis and forecasting with commentary.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives.

The Role

As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for a number of entities. Your duties will include, but not be limited to
