Job summary

u&u Recruitment Partners is seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to join a large national organisation spanning automotive, mobility, energy and technology sectors. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will deliver accurate financial reporting across a diverse group and support treasury, budgeting and statutory duties.

The role involves month-end close, consolidation, cashflow forecasting and collaboration with international subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Must be CA or CPA qualified with strong technical accounting skills.
• Experience in financial or corporate accounting within medium to large organisations.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate financial reporting and balance sheet management.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI and financial reporting tools.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite or Dynamics 365 is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close including journals, GL management and financial results preparation.
• Consolidation of monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Weekly cashflow monitoring, forecasting and treasury reporting.
• Prepare bank covenant compliance documentation.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow/balance sheet planning.
• Assist with statutory reporting and year-end audit requirements.
• Support group income tax obligations.
