Job summary

Suitorly in Sydney CBD is seeking a Financial Accountant responsible for end-to-end AP/AR, payroll processing, and accurate BAS/GST/FBT lodgements. You will own month-end reporting and help drive timely financial insights across the growing business.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA in progress, or working toward one.
• Comfortable in Xero.

Responsibilities

• Run the accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles end-to-end so suppliers are paid on time and cash comes in as expected.
• Process payroll accurately every cycle, including super and PAYG, and catch errors before they become payslip issues.
• Prepare reconciliations and journals feeding month-end reporting; own BAS, GST, and FBT lodgements.
• Track deadlines and flag issues before they become urgent; drive timely reporting and compliance.

Financial Accountant | Sydney CBD | Reporting to the CFO | $85 to $100K Base

What you'd actually be doing

You'd run the accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles end-to-end, so suppliers get paid on time, and cash comes in when it's supposed to. You'd process payroll accurately every cycle, including super and PAYG, and you'd be the one who catches the error before it becomes a payslip complaint.

You'd prepare the reconciliations and journals that feed straight into month-end reporting, and you'd own the BAS, GST, and FBT lodgements so tax season is never a scramble.

This isn't a role where you wait to be told what's overdue. You track it yourself, and you flag the mess before it becomes a fire.
