Job summary

ATS Building Products in Northmead (Sydney) is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting, support month-end and year-end close processes, perform reconciliations, including bank and intercompany, and help with cash flow reporting and forecasting.

You will also support statutory compliance, including BAS and other regulatory obligations, and assist with corporate credit card

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reporting.
• Supporting month end and year end close processes.
• Performing reconciliations, including bank and intercompany reconciliations where required.
• Assisting with cash flow reporting and forecasting.
• Supporting statutory compliance requirements, including BAS and other regulatory obligations.
• Processing and reviewing online banking payments.
• Assisting with corporate credit card reconciliations and expense management.
• Supporting the maintenance of financial records, including fixed assets where required.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Providing support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team with ad hoc reporting, analysis and projects as required.

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our finance team and play an important role in supporting the Financial Controller across a broad range of finance and accounting responsibilities. This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, compliance, month‑end processes and the day‑to‑day operations of the finance function while working within a collaborative and supportive team.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
