Summary:

About the Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day finance operations, including:

• Assisting with financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal processing
• Supporting month-end and year-end close
• Overseeing Accounts Payable processes and supervising a small AP team
• Verify vendor records to prevent fictitious payees and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing
• Drive strong controls with accurate 3-way PO matching and prevent duplicate or erroneous payments.
• Tracking fleet-related expenses (fuel, e-Tags, repairs) and managing cost allocations
• Investigating aged payables and supporting compliance with internal controls
• Contributing to continuous improvement in finance processes and systems
• Supporting payroll processing and related reporting
• Maintaining accurate records of finance and operating leases in compliance with accounting standards
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries efficiently

About You:

• Experience in a fast-paced finance environment
• Strong reconciliation and journal processing experience
• Solid knowledge of accounting treatment for finance and operating leases
• Confidence in managing AP processes and leading a small team
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong Excel skills
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
• Ability to follow up and coordinate with stakeholders effectively
• CPA qualified or near completion
