Job summary
Sharp and Carter, Sydney Western Suburbs NSW, is partnering with a national industrial group to appoint an experienced Finance Transformation Lead on a six-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on owning the Accounting stream within a broader Finance Transformation program to simplify processes and modernise the ERP environment.
You will deliver end-to-end changes across process, technology and people, drive month-end close improvements, and identify automation and AI opportunities while
Qualifications
- Significant Finance or Accounting transformation experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Accounting workstream within the broader Finance Transformation program, from design through implementation and embedding.
- Redesign key Accounting processes with emphasis on month-end close, journals, reconciliations, controls and reducing manual activity.
- Identify and transition activities from Accounting into Shared Services to improve standardisation, ownership and scalability.
- Partner with IT, ERP consultants and Finance stakeholders to optimise system functionality, workflows, automation and system-generated accounting.
- Identify and implement practical automation and AI opportunities to build a scalable Accounting model for growth and M&A.
