Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care seeks a Finance Transformation Lead to steer the finance stream of a large ERP transformation in Melbourne. You will design and implement future-state finance processes, controls and reporting across a multi-site operation, coordinating data migration, testing and cutover with partners and internal teams.

The role requires CA/CPA qualifications, ERP experience, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified accounting professional.
• Experience leading ERP transformation projects.
• Experience with Epicor or similar ERP platforms.
• Experience in aged care or regulated multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance stream of the ERP transformation, designing and implementing future-state finance processes.
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, procurement, resident billing, reporting and month-end.
• Coordinate data migration, testing, cutover and go-live activities.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Technology and partners to deliver the new ERP.
• Develop reporting, reconciliations and finance controls.
• Lead workshops and training for stakeholders.
• Support post go-live stabilisation and first month-end close.

Why this role matters:

As the Finance Transformation Lead, you will drive the Finance stream of a large-scale systems transformation, leading the design and implementation of future-state finance processes, controls, reporting, data migration, testing, cutover and go-live activities. You'll work closely with Finance, Operations, Technology teams and implementation partners to deliver a modern, scalable finance function. This role is a 2-year contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance stream of a major systems transformation program, driving the design and implementation of future-state finance processes and controls.
• Oversee Finance operations across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, procurement, resident billing, reporting and period-end processes.
• Lead Finance readiness activities including process design, data cleansing, data migration, integration testing, cutover planning and go-live support.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Technology teams and external implementation partners to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the new ERP platform.
• Drive reporting, reconciliation and financial control frameworks to support accurate, auditable and reliable financial information.
• Lead Finance SMEs and key stakeholders through workshops, decision-making, testing, training and business readiness activities.
• Support cutover, post-go-live stabilisation and the first month-end close within the new environment.

About you

You are a CA or CPA qualified finance professional with proven ERP transformation experience, strong expertise in financial operations and controls, and the ability to lead stakeholders through complex change. Collaborative and outcomes-focused, you thrive in delivering scalable finance solutions that drive business performance.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Proven experience leading Finance workstreams through a full-cycle ERP implementation.
• Lead end-to-end Finance testing, cutover and reconciliation for Epicor Residential Management, ensuring resident billing, balances and financial outputs are accurate and ready for Go-Live.
  Lead First Close and post-Go-Live stabilisation, resolving reconciliation issues and ensuring financial controls, reporting integrity and successful transition to BAU.
• Strong knowledge of financial operations, controls, reporting and data migration.
• Experience with finance process design, testing, reconciliation and go-live activities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Sound understanding of accounting standards, financial controls and audit requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to partner effectively with Technology teams, vendors and implementation partners.
• Experience with Epicor or similar ERP platforms. - highly regarded
• Experience in aged care, healthcare or other regulated multi-site environments.
• Knowledge of payroll, procurement, banking, reporting or data integration processes.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

• Current CA or CPA qualification
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline highly regarded
• Current National Police Check or Willing to obtain
• Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or valid Australian work rights.
