Reporting to the GM of Planning and Analytics, the role focuses on requirements gathering, building new Power BI reports, and guiding the team through change management and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounting and finance systems transformation.
• Ability to code Power BI reports from warehouse data.
• Ability to train the wider team on using reports.

The Company

This large well known Australian business provides households with a number of brands and services used throughout the house. They are going through a company wide transformation aimed at streamlining their reporting and accuracy of data.

The Role

Reporting to the GM of Planning and Analytics this role will play an important part in accessing data from its warehousing tool and streamlining this into accurate reports and then providing this information through newly built dashboards. Your duties will include:

• Identifying and documenting functional requirements; diagnosing issues and establishing root causes; formulating and shortlisting possible solutions (people, process, data, system); obtaining signoff from upper management and other stakeholders.
• Develop new reports and dashboards.
• Identifying and developing the appropriate change management plan to ensure successful adoption of transformation program.
• Provide oversight, management and leadership on identifying, coordinating and/or embedding necessary process improvement opportunities.

Your Profile

You will have several years experience within Accounting and have worked across finance and systems transformation projects. You will ideally be able to code new PowerBI reports based on extracted data from the warehouse and be able to train the wider team on using these reports.
