Sharp & Carter is assisting a large not-for-profit organisation in Melbourne to appoint a Finance Systems Lead. You will drive administration, optimisation and upgrades of critical finance systems, partnering with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to deliver practical, hands-on solutions.

The role focuses on governance, system performance and continuous improvement, with a collaborative finance team and opportunities to influence core financial processes across the organisation.

Competenze

• Experience with Oracle is essential and non-negotiable.
• Experience managing staff and direct reports.
• Experience supporting and administering ERP and finance systems.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• Experience with system upgrades, enhancements or implementations and data flows.
• Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Systems professional to join a large, purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation as a Finance Systems Lead. Working within a collaborative and supportive finance team, you will play a key role in maintaining, enhancing and optimising critical finance systems that support the organisation's operations and long-term objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to deliver practical system solutions while remaining hands-on across systems administration, user support, continuous improvement initiatives and project delivery.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in ensuring finance systems are effective, reliable and fit for purpose. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will support system performance, drive process improvements and contribute to ongoing upgrade and implementation initiatives.

• Administration and support of finance systems and related interfaces

About You

You will be a commercially minded finance systems professional who enjoys solving problems, engaging stakeholders and improving business processes.

• Prior experience with Oracle, this is essential and non-negotiable
• Prior experience managing staff/having direct reports
• Experience supporting and administering ERP and finance systems
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
• Experience working with system upgrades, enhancements or implementation projects and data flows
• Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
