Job summary

AFL is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Lead to strengthen and advance its finance technology stack in Melbourne. You will own core platforms, drive the roadmap, and lead a small team while partnering with Finance, Technology, Data & Analytics, and club stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will oversee projects from requirements through testing, implementations and adoption, ensuring robust controls and alignment with AFL needs across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in a senior finance systems/ERP role.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Experience delivering finance systems projects and managing vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing evolution of the AFL’s finance technology ecosystem.
• Own the finance systems roadmap across platforms and integrations.
• Manage a direct report and collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Analytics teams.
• Deliver secure, scalable finance solutions and ensure controls.
