The successful candidate will own JDE governance, master data structures, and security controls, drive process improvements, and contribute to adoption and roadmap efforts while maintaining operational excellence.

About the Role

An exciting, business-critical role with an industry-leading diversified Infrastructure organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their Finance team. This is a high-impact role that will act as the primary subject‑matter expert responsible for the governance, support, enhancement, and transformation of the organisation's JDE (JD Edwards) Finance platform.

Taking a hands‑on approach; this role will be the key liaison between Finance, external support partners and project teams; and has equal accountability for maintaining operational excellence across the JDE (JD Edwards) Finance landscape and driving transformation initiatives including adoption, finance process optimisation and continuous improvement.

This role is a full-time, permanent role. This organisation has a flexible hybrid approach to working with 3 days required in the office per week.

The Responsibilities

Reporting into the Finance Transformation Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Act as the primary JDE (JD Ewards) Finance subject‑matter expert supporting Finance stakeholders across the business.
• Own JDE Finance governance, Finance master data structures and security controls.
• Provide support and oversight for JDE Finance routine activities.
• Lead solution design and business engagement for JDE Finance projects and enhancements.
• Partner with cross-functionally across the organisation to ensure effective support and delivery outcomes.
• Support JDE roadmap planning and future‑state finance architecture.
• Drive process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge management documentation and support succession planning.
• Ensure JDE solutions align with business, governance and audit requirements.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives
• Assist in ad‑hoc projects as directed by the wider Finance team

The Successful Applicant will have

Ideally, you will be aCA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross‑functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally; you will have extensive hands‑on experience with JDE (JD Edwards) and be accomplished more broadly across process, governance, solutions & configuration. Furthermore, you will enjoy be involving in project‑related work. Prior working experience in Chartered Audit, Management Consulting or having worked on an JDE (JD Edwards) ERP system implementation previously will be considered advantageous!
