Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a systems-focused Finance professional on a newly created 12-month contract. You’ll support a major systems transformation, leveraging experience in finance systems, testing and continuous improvement in a fast-changing, hands-on environment.

The role involves system administration, data integrity, UAT coordination, ERP configuration, and close support, interfacing between Finance and Technology to deliver permanent improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance systems or business systems support
• Experience with UAT/testing cycles
• ERP systems and integrations knowledge (Sage, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365)
• Comfortable solving problems with imperfect systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to adapt to changing environment and progress system enhancements

Responsibilities

• System administration – support access enquiries across ERP and finance systems
• Maintain master data integrity and lead data cleansing
• Coordinate UAT testing cycles for upgrades and releases
• Configure and maintain core ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, Bank Services)
• Translate accounting requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot issues and manage escalations with stakeholders
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close from a systems perspective
• Produce configuration records, process maps and change logs
