Job summary

Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. is seeking a Finance Specialist to support financial management, reporting, analysis, and coordination across the operation.

You will gain exposure to budgets, forecasts, and monthly closes while working closely with the local Finance team and Zijin Mining Group Headquarters. The ideal candidate will hold a finance-related degree, have strong Excel skills, and be fluent in English and Chinese, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualification in accounting or finance is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial management principles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially for finance tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work in a mining operation and gain practical experience in remote conditions.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or related field.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, review, and analysis of financial reports and management information.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
• Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Assist with budget tracking, variance analysis, and follow-up on deviations.
• Maintain accurate financial records, working papers, and documentation.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost control, and expense management.
• Support financial analysis of operational activities and provide information to management.
• Contribute to group reporting and communication with Zijin Mining Group Headquarters.
