Qualifications

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting functions, including risks within financial and regulatory reporting.
• Experience investigating incidents and issues, identifying root causes, and applying policies and standards.
• Knowledge of financial processes, internal controls and Treasury Finance activities.
• Experience in operational risk management, including risk assessments and incidents management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for reporting and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will act as a trusted risk partner to Finance, People and Engagement finance teams, providing review, challenge and advice across key finance activities.
• You will identify, assess and monitor risks, evaluate controls, and support management of issues, incidents and regulatory obligations.
• You will influence risk outcomes across a broad finance environment by contributing to risk reporting, governance forums and continuous improvement initiatives.
