Job summary

Ampol is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to oversee Finance platforms and SAP-driven initiatives. You will align platform priorities with operational demand, manage dependencies and governance, and drive delivery excellence through Agile, DevOps, and robust project management practices.

You’ll collaborate with finance, technology teams and vendors to deliver impact. You will lead planning, backlogs, and execution while removing impediments and building a high-performing team, with a focus

Qualifications

• SAP Expertise, capable of leading senior SAP teams and finance-focused workloads.
• Experience delivering SAP upgrades or transformation programs, ideally including S/4HANA.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technology delivery teams in complex environments.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and team development capabilities.
• Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies with judgement on fit.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Finance and ERP initiatives, with SAP focus.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Oversee testing across user, UAT, integration, and post-production phases.
• Build relationships with Finance leaders and external vendors to align priorities.
• Provide regular reporting on delivery status, risks, and decisions.
• Coach and develop delivery professionals to build a high-performing team.
• Support transition to service management and continuous improvement.
