Job summary

Western Power is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Perth to drive industry-standard analysis across Strategic Works Delivery. You will guide stakeholders, coach analysts, and deliver actionable insights to improve business outcomes.

You will lead requirements management, process analysis, and reporting initiatives while shaping the future state and benefits realisation across multiple programs. A strong emphasis on collaboration and continuous improvement underpins the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of business, functional and non-functional requirements, specifications, analysis and recommendations for proposed solutions.
• Identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, recommend approaches and support prioritisation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply and champion industry-standard business analysis techniques, including requirements elicitation and management, process and workflow analysis, data analysis and modelling, enterprise analysis, and solution assessment and validation.
• Develop and enhance reporting and analytics capabilities that translate business data into clear and actionable insights.
• Lead and coordinate process improvement activities, including current and future state analysis, stakeholder workshops, implementation planning, benefits definition and measurement.
• Assess the impact of internal and external factors on business requirements and support the management of scope changes across initiatives.
• Liaise across the organisation to ensure requirements are understood, change impacts are managed and solutions remain aligned to business objectives.
• Coach, mentor and guide Business Analysts and other stakeholders in business analysis practices, methodologies and deliverables.
• Contribute to the ongoing maturity and continuous improvement of business analysis, reporting, analytics, and process improvement capabilities across Strategic Works Delivery.
