Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• Experience in accounts, bookkeeping or junior accounting.
• Experience in property, construction or development is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines and priorities.
• Proficiency with Xero is highly regarded.
• Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable end to end, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier accounts.
• Accounts receivable, deposit tracking and debtor management.
• Bank, credit card and expense reconciliations across entities.
• Support month-end close, including accruals, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with BAS, GST and other compliance obligations.
• Support payroll processing.
• Assist with management and project financial reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and other finance tasks.
