Job summary

Warrigal is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Finance team with numbers-driven operations, reporting, debtor management and month-end tasks. You will manage high volumes of financial information with accuracy and timeliness, while communicating effectively with residents, suppliers and colleagues.

The role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and adherence to Aged Care standards to deliver sound financial operations that support Warrigal’s care services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance-related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience using ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in aged care with knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Experience using Epicor ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across Warrigal’s Finance team.
• Support key finance processes, reporting, debtor management and month-end activities.
• Handle large volumes of financial information within deadlines to ensure timely, accurate data for decision-making.
• Be a key point of contact for residents, customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
