Job summary

Echo Community is seeking a Finance Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and banking while addressing customer queries with professionalism.

Hours are 25–30 per week between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, with flexible structuring to suit the right candidate. Australian-based Aged Care experience is preferred and applications without this experience may not be shortlisted.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree (Australian-based).
• Minimum 1 year local experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritise tasks with flexibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including intermediate Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable with accurate invoicing and timely allocations.
• Monitor accounts emails and phone queries, delivering excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve billing queries and disputes promptly.
• Maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.
