Job summary

HealthWISE is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to support rural and remote NSW services. The role is 22.5 hours per week, on a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential extension for the right candidate.

You will process invoices, manage payments, reconcile accounts, maintain confidential records, and assist with audits. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in accounts, strong accuracy, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an accounts position.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated computer literacy and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Teams.
• Ability to work as part of a flexible team whilst also being able to work autonomously.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work remotely with a high level of accountability and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices and payment allocations.
• Manage invoice processing, creditor payments, and account enquiries.
• Complete bank, credit card, and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential financial records.
• Support staff with finance systems, including MYOB Acumatica and ProSpend.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with audit and compliance activities.

About The Role

This position is offered on a part‑time basis of 22.5 hours per week (45 hours per fortnight), working 3-4 days per week. The role is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
