Salary Range: LGO4 - $86,720 - $92,954 per annum + super

As a Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting Council's financial operations by delivering accurate, timely and customer-focused financial services. Working within the Commercial and Financial Services team, you will partner with stakeholders across the organisation to provide financial advice, investigate and resolve finance-related enquiries, process transactions and workflows, and contribute to quality financial outcomes.
This role offers variety and collaboration, with opportunities to work across different business areas while building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement. Your attention to detail, analytical approach and commitment to service excellence will help support Council's purpose of Growing Townsville and delivering value to our community.
You are a motivated and customer-focused finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve positive business outcomes. You bring strong financial administration and stakeholder engagement skills, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
