Townsville City Council is seeking a Business Support Officer in Planning & Development to deliver first-class customer service and specialised advice in a busy planning environment.
You will support customers, manage planning applications and records, coordinate activities, and ensure statutory timeframes are met. The role also covers financial admin, correspondence, and cross-team support with opportunities to mentor more junior staff.
Position Type: Fixed-Term Full-Time until January 2028 (9 day fortnight, 36.25 hours/week)
Salary Range: LGO2-3 ($70,107 - $84,646 per annum + superannuation), based on skills, qualifications and experience

About the Role:
