Job summary

Bega Group is seeking a Finance Officer for the Ridge Street cheese manufacturing site. This 3-days-per-week role focuses on delivering financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, month-end activities, and operational analysis to help drive site performance.

You will partner with site stakeholders, ensuring accurate records and driving improvements in reporting processes to support the Great Australian Food Company’s growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts, Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems/ERPs.
• Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn.

The Role

Looking for a flexible finance role where you can make a real impact? Join our supportive Operations Finance team as a Finance Officer, working 3 days per week with flexibility around your working days.

In this role, you'll support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end activities, and operational analysis while partnering closely with site stakeholders to help drive business performance.

Our Ridge Street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renowned Bega cheese blocks- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses.

Responsibilities
