Richard Lloyd Accounting Recruitment has partnered with a founder-led Australian technology business to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager / Senior Accountant. You will own month-end close, financial reporting and drive finance transformation across the function.

Working with a small team, you will lead process improvements, leverage OCR/automation/AI to boost efficiency, manage working capital and revenue recognition across technology projects and contracts, and partner with FP&A for meaningful

Qualifications

CA or CPA qualification is required.
Proven people leadership experience (managing staff).
Strong month-end and financial reporting experience.
Track record of improvements/projects/achievements in finance.
Comfortable in a changing business environment, not rigid.
AASB 15 exposure or revenue recognition experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Own month-end close and financial reporting, delivering accurate results within deadlines.
Lead and develop a small accounting team with support from the Financial Controller.
Drive process improvements and finance transformation to streamline workflows and lift reporting quality.
Leverage OCR/automation/AI to modernise finance operations.
Partner with FP&A to provide meaningful reporting, insights and decision support.
Oversee AR and working capital, building on key automations.
Support revenue recognition across technology projects and contracts.
