Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment – Sydney CBD NSW seeks a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a growing construction business after a recent acquisition. You will set up month-end processes and work with the General Manager to drive growth.

You will manage a team of 4 (AP, AP, Payroll), produce month-end accounts and reporting to Head Office, and lead budgeting and forecasting with Group Office.

Qualifications

• Leadership and hands-on financial management experience in a SME environment.
• Experience influencing growth strategies and driving commercial outcomes.
• Exposure to project-based environments such as construction and engineering is a plus.
• CA / CPA qualified or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small, established team of 4 staff (AP, AP, Payroll).
• Work closely with General Managers to drive growth.
• Produce month-end accounts and reporting through to Head Office.
• Provide monthly WIP reporting by project.
• Lead initial budgeting and forecasting prior to finalisation by Group Office.
