Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead finance operations for a diverse property portfolio in Sydney. You will partner with the client’s finance team and property managers to deliver timely, accurate reporting and drive improvements across the finance function.

The role requires a CA/CPA with 8+ years in property accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience in real estate.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in property and trust accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing small teams in a managerial or team lead capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in real estate or construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance business partner to the client's finance team and Property Managers.
• Lead day-to-day accounting operations in collaboration with the Portfolio Accountant.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate with property managers on month-end reporting requirements.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
