Job summary

Pacvac Pty Ltd in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a Finance Manager to own the end-to-end finance function on-site at Kewdale. You will lead a lean team, partner with leadership, and shape the company’s FY27–FY29 strategic plan.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, BAS/PAYG/FBT, debtors, FX, pricing models and dashboard improvements using Pronto Xi and Cognos. A hands-on, strategic finance professional will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, commerce or similar.
• 5+ years in a hands-on finance role, running month end and year end end to end.
• Margin analysis and financial modelling experience with advanced Excel.
• Experience preparing BAS, PAYG withholding, payroll tax and FBT returns.
• Budgeting, rolling forecasting and cash flow forecasting experience.
• Experience managing debtors and credit control.
• Ability to explain numbers clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Hands-on approach moving between detail and strategy in a lean team.

Responsibilities

• Run month end and year end end to end, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L and reporting by working day 10.
• Prepare monthly reporting with clear, practical commentary for the leadership team.
• Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG withholding, payroll tax and FBT returns.
• Oversee debtors and credit control, including credit limits and PPSR registrations.
• Account for inventory, including landed cost and stock valuation.
• Manage FX exposure, including hedging and forward contracts.
• Build pricing, margin and scenario models that support commercial decisions.
• Improve reporting through dashboards, automation and approved AI tools.
• Act as the finance expert for Pronto Xi and Cognos.
