Job summary

Virbac Australia invites an experienced Finance Director to lead the Pacific region from the Milperra site. You will oversee financial planning, reporting, and strategic advisory for Australia and NZ, reporting to the Area Director with strong ties to the global Finance team.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will drive commercial insights, oversee IT strategy, and regional procurement, with travel to NZ as needed. January 2027 start date is envisaged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Finance Director or CFO in a multinational or international organization.
• University degree and CPA or CA qualification.
• Internal audit experience in a large corporate or reputable firm.
• Proven commercial acumen with a track record of improving margins and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial planning, budgeting, and rolling forecasts for the Pacific region.
• Lead a high-performing finance function and advise across Commercial, IO, and Support.
• Partner with Area Director and global Finance for insights and decision support.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, variance analyses, and GEC reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory accounting; support HR remuneration reviews.
