Job summary

Norwest Recruitment in Western Sydney is seeking a Finance Manager to own the local finance function and partner with the CFO and management team. The role is Excel-intensive, requires handling large datasets, and delivering meaningful commercial insights.

The ideal candidate will be CPA/CA qualified with strong month-end and financial reporting experience, and will manage a high-volume finance team in a fast-paced environment, reporting to the local CFO.

Qualifications

Qualified CPA or CA with finance manager experience.
Experience in a high-volume Excel environment.
Experience reporting to overseas parent or PE environment.
Strong financial accounting and month-end knowledge.

Responsibilities

Own the month-end close, including GL and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare BAS and Payroll Tax returns and manage payroll tax allocations.
Oversee daily cash reporting and weekly cashflow forecasting for the Board.
Lead and develop the local finance team and act as a business partner to the CFO.
Provide financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making.
