Job summary

BGIS Global Integrated Solutions Canada – Mascot NSW is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, budgeting and commercial insight for a major national airline’s facilities account at Sydney Airport. Reporting to the Finance and Commercial Manager, you will be the client’s finance contact and collaborate with the on-site BGIS team.

This role focuses on turning data into actionable insights, shaping recommendations, improving processes, and supporting decision-making.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with tertiary qualifications in business, accounting or finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Experience in facilities management, property or corporate real estate environments.
• Strong commercial thinking with ability to interpret data and turn into recommendations.
• Advanced Excel and Word skills.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams.
• Experience working within QA, WHS and environmental systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide full financial reporting for the account, including costs and revenue under the GMP model.
• Prepare and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Manage monthly accruals and provide commentary bridging actual results to forecast.
• Oversee purchase orders, quarterly client POs, invoicing and monthly claims.
• Turn financial information into clear insights and practical recommendations.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and internal controls.
• Act as the key contact for the client's accounting matters, including meetings.
• Support and develop one direct report.
