Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a three-member finance team and partner with senior commercial leaders. You will own month-end processes, deliver timely financial insights, and drive planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.

• CA/CPA qualification with a degree in Business, Finance or Commerce.
• Strong knowledge of management accounting, consolidation, month-end and reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting.
• Proven leadership of a high-performing finance team.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement.

• Deliver financial analysis and insights to support an accurate view of business performance and results.
• Partner with senior commercial and operational leaders, providing trusted financial advice and decision support.
• Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities, including analysis of performance and variances.
• Oversee financial reporting, periodical accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, supporting statutory and business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, accuracy and efficiency while supporting broader team and business objectives.

The Opportunity

Join our OTS Finance team as a Finance Manager and take ownership of a broad portfolio spanning people leadership, month-end delivery and commercial business partnering. Leading a team of three finance professionals, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information while providing timely insights that support informed business decisions.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll partner with senior commercial stakeholders, coach and develop your team, and help drive strong financial performance across the business. Your key responsibilities will include:

About You

You're an experienced finance professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial thinking and a genuine passion for business partnering. You're comfortable moving between month-end delivery, analysis and forward-looking planning, while building trusted relationships across the business.
You'll also be a confident people leader who enjoys developing others and creating a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

You'll bring:

• CA or CPA qualification, supported by tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Strong financial and management accounting knowledge, including consolidation, month-end and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and variance reporting.
  Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop and manage a high-performing finance team.
• Strong commercial acumen and business-partnering skills, with the confidence to influence and work effectively with internal stakeholders.
• High standards of accuracy, organisation and accountability, with a results-focused and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Strong MS Office and finance systems capability; experience with TM1 or similar finance systems would be advantageous.
