Job summary

Recruitment Labs in Sydney is seeking a Senior Finance Director to lead the finance function across a multi-entity building services group, reporting to the MD and engaging with PE observers. You will own management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, contract profitability and revenue recognition, guide acquisition integrations and build a high‑performance team to drive growth.

This role demands commercial acumen, tight working capital management, and the ability to deliver board-ready

Qualifications

Senior finance leadership experience in building services or contracting.
Strong project accounting understanding.
Experience with recurring service revenue models.
Experience in PE-backed environment reporting requirements.
Multi-entity finance experience including consolidations and intercompany activity.
Experience supporting acquisition integration across finance systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the finance function across a multi-entity building services group.
Own management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and board-level analysis.
Provide visibility on contract profitability, margin, WIP and revenue recognition.
Deliver high-quality reporting including board packs and KPI reporting.
Support acquisition integration, including systems, controls and process alignment.
Lead, develop and structure the finance team to support growth.
Act as a commercial partner to leadership and operational teams.
