Pullman Cairns International is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the financial strategy and performance of this iconic premium hotel in tropical north Queensland. You will partner with the General Manager and senior leadership to drive profitability, governance and commercial outcomes across Rooms, F&B and events.

This role requires CA/CPA qualifications, strong hotel finance experience, and a collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior finance role within a hotel environment.
• CA or CPA qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Strong understanding of hotel systems, financial processes and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Opera Cloud, Sun System, Zambion payroll and PurchasePlus is highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Finance function as a true business partner to the General Manager and leadership team, ensuring strong financial management, commercial performance and operational discipline across the hotel.
• Deliver all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements on time and to a high standard, including owner and ownership reporting.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes with engagement from department heads and alignment with business strategy.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing and receiving, ensuring discipline and accuracy.
