Responsibilities

• Identify process improvements and report system issues in the policy admin system to management and technical support.
• Ensure timely follow-up on dishonoured payments and debtor accounts of policyholders.
• Approve and upload files to the bank for payment processing.
• Process and authorise customer credit card and bank refunds in accordance with company policy.
• Handle chargebacks and ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements.
• Identify and rectify declined claims and refunds on bank statements.
• Prepare monthly debtors report and provide insights to management.
• Work with the development team to review and improve processes and functions for accurate financial/bordereaux reporting to the underwriters.
• Assist in full end to end bank reconciliations of large data set bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate filing and scanning of accounts documentation.
• Respond to finance-related banking and reporting queries.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve account-related issues promptly.
