Job summary

Insignia is seeking a hands-on Finance Business Partner to join our Brisbane team. You’ll work with Sales, Operations and Production to drive profitability and provide clear financial insight to support decision making.

You’ll manage monthly reports, budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis, including product costing and inventory. Strong Excel skills and BC experience preferred; CPA/CA qualification required.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Manufacturing costing and inventory experience highly desirable with Microsoft Business Central experience.
• Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Operations and Production to drive business performance and decision‑making.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.

Working closely with Sales, Operations, Production and Finance, you’ll turn financial data into meaningful insights, support informed decision‑making and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

About you

• CPA/CA qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline, and at least 5 years’ relevant experience in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Manufacturing costing and inventory experience highly desirable, with Microsoft Business Central experience also advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Well organised, proactive and committed to continuous improvement, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Flexible working hours, with the ability to accommodate month-end responsibilities and deadlines.
