Job summary

Insignia in Brisbane seeks a Finance Business Partner to drive performance across Commercial & Manufacturing. You will partner with Sales, Operations and Production to translate financial data into actionable insights and support strategic decisions.

The role requires CPA/CA with 5+ years in FP&A or finance business partnering, strong Excel modelling, and manufacturing costing experience. We offer flexible working, onsite parking, and a supportive wellbeing program.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA qualified with a relevant degree and at least 5 years in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical capability and advanced Excel skills.
• Manufacturing costing and inventory experience desirable; MS Dynamics BC advantageous.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for pricing, projects and operations.
• Well organized, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Manage product costing, inventory analysis and profitability reporting.

• Improve financial reporting processes, systems and controls.

Working closely with Sales, Operations, Production and Finance, you’ll turn financial data into meaningful insights, support informed decision‑making and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

About you

• CPA/CA qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline, and at least 5 years’ relevant experience in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Manufacturing costing and inventory experience highly desirable, with Microsoft Business Central experience also advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Well organised, proactive and committed to continuous improvement, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Flexible working hours, with the ability to accommodate month‑end responsibilities and deadlines.
